Forma
Forma stimulates the formation of new collagen and improves the skin’s elasticity for long lasting results. The device uses temperature controlled heat to tighten, smooth and reduce wrinkles on the face and smaller parts of the body.
The radio frequency current flows between the electrodes to provide a comfortable thermal experience, without the concern of any hot spots or under treatment.
Forma is best for clients with loose skin or who are concerned with a loss of elasticity. It can treat the jowls, neck, nasolabial folds, around the eyes and forehead.
How does it work?
Collagen is a heat sensitive protein. Forma slowly heats the collagen in the skin to a sustained temperature of 41 degrees- 43 degrees, which is the optimal temperature to stimulate new collagen. The heat causes the heat sensitive collagen in the skin to ‘unwind’ and the body responds by making new and better collagen to repair the skin. This results in tighter, smoother skin.

Is there any downtime with Forma?
Not at all. The treatment is quite relaxing and feels like a warm massage. Your skin may feel a little warm or flushed for 24 hours

Yes, they can! Forma is great for anyone despite age or skin colour.
How many treatments do I need?
Forma works slowly over time therefore we recommend 1 treatment every week for 6 weeks to build enough collagen to achieve long lasting, visible results. Forma can also be done leading up to a big event such as a wedding.
Fortnightly treatments may be recommended to certain clients based on their treatment plan.
What can I expect?
Forma can increase collagen by approximetly 20% meaning your skin will be firmer, smoother and brighter.

Morpheus8
Morpheus8 is the world’s most anticipated innovation in facial aesthetics. Morpheus8 is a fractional rejuvenation and resurfacing treatment that reduces wrinkles, scars and improves skin tone.
How does it work?
Morpheus8 delivers radio frequency (RF) energy to selected depths in the skin (using micro needles up to 8mm deep) The RF energy heats both the superficial and the deeper layers of the skin in a controlled way to revitalise the collagen and by improving the skins texture.
It can be used on any area of the body for skin renewal but is most common on the forehead, lower eyelids, cheeks, mouth area and neck.
FAQ
Is there any downtime with Morpheus8?
It is a minimally invasive procedure so there is little downtime. Only mineral/medical makeup can be worn afterwards.
Some mild swelling can occur and red microdots on the skin can be seen for a few days after treatment.
Can I get it done if my skin is dark?
Yes, you can. It is safe for all skin types and tones with very little risk of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which can be common with certain lasers.
What can I expect?
Full results with Morpheus8 will show around the 3-6 month mark post treatment. Skin tightening will continue to improve over time.
How many treatments do I need?
It all depends on what we are treating. Some clients may need 1 treatment some may need up to four. Your skin therapist would be able to give you more of an indication at consultation.
